We have a highly restrictive SMS policy that prioritizes your privacy and requires explicit consent for any SMS communications.
Our SMS policy is designed to be highly restrictive to protect your privacy and ensure that you receive only essential communications via SMS. Here are the key points of our SMS policy:
- Consent: We will only send SMS messages to you if you have provided explicit consent to receive such communications. This consent must be obtained separately from any other forms of communication consent.
- Purpose: SMS communications will be used solely for essential service-related messages, such as account security alerts, critical updates about your service, or legally required notifications. We will not use SMS for any marketing purposes.
- Frequency: We will limit the frequency of SMS messages to only what is absolutely necessary for providing our services or meeting legal requirements.
- Data Protection: Any phone numbers collected for SMS communications will be stored securely and used only for the purpose of sending the agreed-upon SMS messages. We will not share, sell, or use this information for any other purpose.
- Third-party Services: If we use any third-party services to manage SMS communications, we will ensure that they adhere to this restrictive policy and maintain the same level of data protection.
- Retention: We will retain your phone number only for as long as necessary to provide the agreed-upon SMS communications. Once you opt-out or the service is no longer required, we will promptly delete your phone number from our SMS communication list.
By implementing this restrictive SMS policy, we aim to respect your privacy, minimize intrusions, and ensure that you receive only the most critical information via SMS.
