Relay / Release Notes
Relay 0.70.0
Look up a DLR without updating a clip, and route on whether it was found.
Added
DLR Lookup has a new Update a clip switch. With it off, Relay finds the DLR and makes its values available to later steps. It reads and changes no clip. Use this to look up game data, for example from a game ID in a Watch Folder file name.
DLR Lookup has a new No match exit. A search that finds no DLR now follows No match instead of Error. The exits are Found, No match, and Error.
Changed
The DLR Lookup form shows Find the DLR first, then Update a clip, Clip to update, and Copy fields.
Fixed
DLR Lookup now reads an Iconik date stored without a time zone. Before, the run failed with a field type mismatch.
A job that stops because of an internal Relay error now ends as Failed with that error. Before, it stayed Running until Relay restarted, and Cancel did not work.
You can now change or remove the Iconik destination label at any time, in Settings > Iconik.
Removed
DLR Lookup no longer has Preview DLR search. Test DLR Lookup with the workflow's Test, as for any other step.
Compatibility
Managed Iconik needs Relay 0.69.0 or later and an active subscription license. Trial codes, demo codes and evaluation builds cannot connect.
Upgrade
Back up workflows before upgrading. A workflow with a DLR Lookup step stays a draft until you connect its No match exit. Error handlers that checked for a no-match error must use the No match exit instead. Control Room provides Mac and Windows updates; Ubuntu uses the production package directly.
Known issues
If an Iconik connection stops before setup finishes, for example while the license cannot be checked, Settings offers no way to remove it. Contact support@northshoreautomation.com.
A license activation can connect one Relay installation. A cloned or restored copy of a machine cannot connect with the same activation until machine replacement ships.
