Iconik Update Asset

Change selected fields on one active asset.

Configuration and behavior

Parameter	Notes
Asset ID *	The one active asset to update. Static and earlier-step values are accepted.
Fields to update *	Select fixed fields or custom metadata, then choose Set, Add, Remove, or Clear where that field supports it.
Retry window	`2m` by default; accepts 1 second through 1 hour.

Relay validates the asset, saved field definitions, permissions, operations, and values before writing. It changes only the selected fields. Outputs: asset_id, outcome, and applied_fields. A confirmed partial update names the fields Iconik applied and did not apply. If Relay cannot confirm the result after sending a write, the job reports an unknown outcome and tells you to check Iconik before retrying.
